Show Free Videos on Drone Warfare to Congregations, receive $100; Attend/Promote Regional Conferences!

From the Coalition for Peace Action (http://www.peacecoalition.org/):

This is an update of a previous notice last fall of INDW’s five free half hour videos on drone warfare.

In addition to providing free access to the videos for congregations that agree to host a screening before mid-summer, we will send a $100 donation upon receipt of the list of attendees and a review of the video they screened!

As Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell, warns in our videos, the unrestrained proliferation of lethal drones, even to non-state actors, means the danger of them being used in the US is growing.

In response to this increased danger, this would be a great time to educate congregations on this emerging, challenging issue.

Click to see and print the two sides of a single page flyer to promote screenings of these videos to faith communities with whom you are in contact. Click here to see more extensive information to use in online promotion.

There are three ways to screen these videos in a congregation:

1) If the location has WiFi, they can be streamed directly.

2) You can click the link for the video you want and download it to a laptop and use that for your screening(s)

3) We have a limited number of each video available on DVD, so let us know if you need any and we can postal mail them to you!

Please let us know if you plan to show any of the videos in your congregation at https://www.pachurches.org/advocacy/register-drone-warfare-videos/. Feel free to reply to e-mail s.strauss@pachurches.org or call 717-545-4761 if you have any questions or needs.

P.S. We also have upcoming Regional Conferences at Hartford Seminary, Pacific School of Religion, and Chicago Theological Seminary scheduled this spring. Information on the latter two is forthcoming.
