Talking About Guns with Friends and Family

From CeaseFirePA (http://www.ceasefirepa.org):

We’ve fought hard this year, with some good results in PA, like the striking down of the special standing law and the legislature’s failure to reenact it, the protection of the PA Instant Check System, and the growing support for expanding background checks. But we have lots of hard work ahead, and we know that the fights will be tougher.

That’s why we’re so grateful to have you standing with us. We can’t do this alone, and every call you make to a legislator, every letter you write to the newspaper, every Facebook message you post about a critical gun violence prevention issue reminds us that you are with us. And it reminds us that we are united in a shared effort to make our communities safer places to live, work, play, learn, and pray.

We hope you have a wonderful, peaceful holiday filled with family and fun. But in case conversations get heated at dinner, here’s a link to our Guide for Talking About Guns with Friends and Family (http://www.ceasefirepa.org/talking-about-guns-with-friends-and-family-during-the-holidays/).  It has some key information and gives you the tools to share facts in a calm, polite way.

Thanks for all you do every day, and thanks for inspiring us to keep fighting.
