Tell PA Legislators to Stop Attempts to Delay Action on Environmental Regulations

From PennFuture (http://www.pennfuture.org):

Some Pennsylvania legislators aren’t doing their jobs, and now they want to stop the executive branch and the governor from doing their jobs as well.

Today, the House State Government Committee voted on Senate Bill 562, which would allow any committee in the legislature to delay action on regulations, potentially indefinitely.

This is just the latest in a series of attempts by this General Assembly to derail efforts to craft, modernize, and update regulations like the oil and gas rules as well as the state implementation of the Clean Power Plan. It’s obstructionist. It’s against the will of the people. And it’s unconstitutional.

Are you sick of the “do nothing” culture in Harrisburg? Go to https://secure2.convio.net/penn/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=1097 to tell your representative to stop the delays and let the governor do his constitutionally prescribed job.

Please ask your legislator to oppose Senate Bill 562 when it comes up for a vote in the full House.
