Thank Senator Casey for Rejecting Suspension of Methane Waste Prevention Rule

From the Clean Air Council (http://www.cleanair.org/):

Last week, Senator Bob Casey took action to fight climate change and protect public health for all Americans.

Senator Casey joined a bipartisan group of 81 lawmakers to urge Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke not to suspend a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) methane waste prevention rule.

Send Senator Casey a thank you note NOW at http://salsa4.salsalabs.com/o/51176/p/dia/action4/common/public/?action_KEY=23594.

In Washington, DC, Senator Casey is taking a leadership role to resist the Trump administration’s attempts to unravel critical environmental safeguards.

Leaking, venting, and flaring methane from natural gas operations releases dangerous pollutants into the air and wastes $330 million in taxpayer-owned resources.  While most of the land affected by this policy is located our West, this rule maintains protections in Pennsylvania, both in the Allegheny National Forest and the Delaware River Gap National Recreation Park.

It is essential for us to acknowledge Casey’s actions so he knows his constituents support his actions and expects him to continue defending attempts to rollback critical environmental standards.

Let’s show him our gratitude.
