Trauma 101 Trainings—March 1, 2, 5, 6—Lancaster

We’re pleased to announce the next round of our Trauma 101 trainings. If you already had the opportunity to attend this training in December, please forward this to anyone else you think may be interested. If you were not able to attend in December, we hope you’ll be able to join us for this training in March.

This course is part of a multi-year initiative by the RMO for Returning Citizens and Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County to help build the foundation for Lancaster County to become a trauma-informed community.  A significant part of this effort is to provide basic training about trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), resilience and related topics to as many people as possible, from as many different sectors of the community as possible.

  • Dates: March 1, 2, 5 or 6, with two sessions (morning and afternoon) offered each day – REGISTER FOR JUST ONE of the offered sessions your preferred date

Intended Audience: This training is designed to provide a foundational overview and awareness of trauma, resilience, and trauma-informed care for anyone in the community who interacts with individuals and families who may have experienced trauma, including human services professionals, educators, the faith community, employers, government agencies, and others.

This training will include curriculum materials from SAMHSA, the ACEs research, and information and key learnings from long-established trauma-informed communities in the Pacific Northwest and Canada.
