The dangerous Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, recently reintroduced in Congress, would force states to allow concealed carry of guns by many people with no permit whatsoever—allowing people who have never been screened by a background check to carry guns throughout the country.
Law enforcement strongly opposes this bill, but it has been an NRA priority for years. They failed under President Obama, but now have the strongly pro-NRA President Trump and majorities in both houses of Congress. Click here (and above) for fact sheets.
