Call Today: Tell Congress to Pass a Clean DREAM Act by December 31

From the Interfaith Immigration Coalition (http://www.interfaithimmigration.org):

President Trump is meeting with congressional leadership to discuss legislative priorities. It is critical our Senators and Representatives hear their constituents call on Congress to prioritize dreamers and pass the Dream Act by year’s end. The sense of urgency is profound: Every day, 122 dreamers lose their protection from deportation. Join us in sharing this urgency to pass the Dream Act, support immigrant youth, and oppose enforcement efforts that would target their parents and communities.

Take action today and tell Congress to pass a clean Dream Act nowYou will receive a phone call and be patched through to your 2 Senators and 1 Representative. Alternatively, you can call directly—find contact information:

Here’s a sample script“I’m your constituent from [City, State]. As a person of faith and a constituent, I support dreamers. I strongly oppose President Trump’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. DACA has provided nearly 800,000 immigrant youth the opportunity to work and pursue their dreams. Congress must do everything in their power to protect immigrant youth – I am calling to urge the [Senator/Representative] to support a clean passage of the Dream Act of 2017 (S.1615 / H.R.3440) by the end of December.”
