Congress is about to end the year without a vote on the DREAM Act and legislation to protect TPS holders but is on track to increase the budget for more deportation agents, detention beds and militarization on the border. On December 6th, approximately 15,000 leaders, Dreamers and supporters, including clergy and leaders from the DMV Sanctuary Congregation Network, will gather together in Washington D.C. to call on Congress to pass a clean Dream Act, permanent residency for TPS (Temporary Protected Status) holders and stop the immoral budget.
Help us continue to push the message and promote this demonstration so that Congress will come to an agreement before the end of this year. LA RED encourages all to show up with our immigrant youth and families.

I strongly oppose President Trump’s decision to end DACA and TPS which has provided over ONE Million people the opportunity to work and pursue their dreams. Congress must do everything in their power to protect both DACA and TPS holders and not increase the budget for more deportations. I am calling to urge the [Senator/Representative] to support a clean passage of the Dream Act and TPS legislation by the end of December and stop any increase to the budget for more detentions and deportations.”
