Demand that Elected Leaders Stand Against White Supremacy and Violence

From Faith in Public Life (http://www.faithinpubliclife.org):

On Saturday, August 12 in Charlottesville, Va., we saw the face of hate and racism on our streets. Neo-Nazis, the KKK and white supremacists of all kinds marched and brought violence to a town that did not want them.

Clergy, people of faith and people of goodwill stood firm against the march in Virginia. Will you join us in demanding that all of our elected officials condemn this violence and hate at http://fpl.actionkit.com/sign/cville-white-supremacy/?

As people of faith, we believe all people are created in the image of God. As American, we believe that all human beings are created with the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Please join in raising a prophetic voice to ask our leaders to embrace our cherished values and condemn those that would seek to divide and destroy us.
