We wanted to share a powerful video from our colleagues at HEAR US, titled Nowhere to Go: Family Homelessness in America.
Homeless children and families are often invisible in our society, living with others or in motels because they have nowhere else to go and shelters are full. This video gives a voice to those children and families, and a chance to share their experience of the trauma associated with homelessness and frequent mobility.
This video is a powerful tool to show why the Homeless Children and Youth Act is needed. We encourage you to share it widely, including with your networks and on social media. Below are some sample tweets:
